Tucson

Yesterday my mother and I went to the University of Arizona with Elise, and my aunt to the gymnastics meet against Stanford. The girls were absolutely working their hardest. It reminded me of my gymnastics dreams as a little girl. The team's athletic ability was amazing, each event was exciting to watch (the beam, their floor routine, the uneven bars, and the vault.) My mom and I started to talk about how much diligence and hours of practice it takes a week for the girls to preform their best. Watching both teams compete was really enjoyable!

Check Amy's Nursing Status

I finished my Hesi yesterday and my score this time was an 826! Almost there I need to get a passing score of 850. God is allowing me to draw closer to His strength in my time of need. I need to pass. Afterwards I can look back at this time and hopefully not see a frustrated girl wanting her way and rushing through this small season of her life to wait on His best. I have the State Board of Nursing test before me and I really want to look back at this time and see a girl trusting and leaning not on her own understanding! So after passing my exams I will be able to look at this website and click on "license verification" then by name and put my name here. www.azbn.gov (this will have my RN license when I pass my (NCLEX) State Board of Nursing test.)

Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.

Suspended License

Back in December I drove to Tucson (the 9th to be exact) and all the Po-Po's like to stop the black Mustangs and sports cars. I was on the I-10 and the speed limit changed from 75 to 65 my mistake...I was pretty intent on my mapquest directions. And then I saw my speed after passing the cop - 89! So he reduced my ticket (my first ticket by the way) from 20 over to 10mph. Now I misplaced my ticket info, missed my court date and now have a suspended license. No driving allowed. :-(
Lesson learned
1. don't speed period (but especially out of town)
2. don't misplace your ticket
3. don't buy sports cars
(I will soon be able to pay for my ticket and probably go to traffic school.)
